Love Roc & Olive. Always amazing food and nice place to dine. Been coming here since it opened. But for the first time, the service was a bit underwhelming. Didn't clear our table, getting drinks was troublesome and bartender had a bit of an attitude. But the food made up for it.
Have been coming since week one. Always a guarantee to enjoy a delicious meal and drinks here. Nice soft atmosphere, a delight.

I am a very picky eater and this is by far my favorite restaurant, the food and service is amazing. Krystal is the sweetest waitress so kind, energetic, patient and attentive, we request her every time we come or hope for her. I will continue to come here always and on top of that the food is unbelievable, especially the spicy shrimp appetizer and the bourbon chicken pasta!!
Really enjoyed this place. Ample room, great atmosphere, and service was top notch. They had a decent beer list and a very nice wine and cocktail list. For food, we went with the fig and bacon flatbread for a starter. This was made nice and quick. The taste was amazing. The sweet fig spread against the salty bacon mixed in with the creaminess of the cheese, perfect. For our main, we split the traditional pallea. The dish takes a little bit to cook, but that was known. The presentation was gorgeous. The amount of seafood and meats was extremely generous. The muscles on the edge were a tad dry, but the flavor was very good. I will certainly be back here again.
Really enjoy this place. Consistently delicious with really friendly service. Excellent taco Tuesday specials. The short rib tacos and fried shrimp tacos are fire. Would highly recommend for any night of the week.
I recently had my bridal shower at Roc & Olive on Saturday, January 13th. Saying that everything was amazing are not strong enough words. I need to first mention two people. Amanda and Crystal are Rockstar's! We are regulars and know Amanda. I was thrilled when I found out that she would be working and organizing things the day of my shower. She was professional, efficient and thought of everything. I recently lost mom and knew this would be somewhat of a trying day but thanks to Amanda and Crystal the day was so beautiful. The bartender, a dark haired, male, I don't recall his name was also fabulous. The food was outstanding. Due to Covid, many people cancelled at the last minute. Roc & Olive was very gracious and understanding. They even sent out extra food that would have gone to those missing guests. In addition, we had a personal cake issue. Once again, Roc & Olive rose to the occasion and a few days before accommodated us with the most delicious/beautiful cake. Crystal always made sure I had a drink in my hand. The decor was perfect. Again, Roc accommodated my requests to leave the Christmas lights up. Also, that was the day it flooded in Long Beach. My bridal party was late getting there to set up. As a result, Roc understood this and allowed us to stay a bit longer than the contract had said. I can't thank the staff and business enough. People mentioned need recognition and a raise! It's businesses like Roc & Olive that make Long Beach a wonderful place and a tight knit community. A thousand times thank you!
Kristal was our wonderful and gracious server whom we now love! The whole experience was rewarding and at the appropriate rice point. Well made drinks and a varity of wine and beer available. On a cold day, the gas fireplace creates a perfect setting for dinner. My ny strip was perfect with the additional grilled asparagus to compliment the main dish. My partner had the snapper. We mentioned that it was our anniversary and we were surprised when kristal brought over a complimentary serving of champagne for us. Roc Olive is a must for anyone and everyone!
